What is telecommuting?

Entrepreneur defines telecommuting in non-technical language, “the practice of working from home for a business and communicating through the use of a personal computer equipped with modem and communications software.” Telecommuting is the type of work many persons find easier to perform because it is difficult for them to be in an office environment for valid reasons. The difficulty in this matter is business owners are not willing to give in and bring the telecommuting option to their work environment, which confuses many persons who can work just fine yet are unable to find a job due to business inability to add in this one type of capability.
