The “To Do List” and big projects

I’ve noticed I usually take on time consuming, bigger projects when no one is home.

I’ve come up with 3 reasons:
1. Knowing I won’t be interrupted.
2. Anxiety about not completing the task
3. Anxiety about the task getting done incorrectly

Sound familiar?

I TOTALLY agree with you. Despite the fact that constantly being alone can get annoying--I love the fact I can work on my sewing or crafts w/o interruptions (other than the phone). The TV is constantly on to prevent dead silence in the house.

Don’t even get me started with playing LOUD music.

I’ve tried crafts I never dreamed of. I’m busy building and filling my bird feeders. It’s almost like an aquarium after I hang them. I had a bird fly into my arm as I was hanging one.

For a bit I was knitting just to knit i have a bunch of needles and looms. Sewing can be pricey. So I have to decide what I want to do. I may make a messenger bag. But all these drugs kill my art motivation. A lot of stuff I make because I would be depressed and in pain otherwise. A chunk of tonight has been decided what to make next and watching videos

I do all the sewing/crafts I do for a few reasons. One is because a person can stare at a computer (or TV) screen for a limited number of hours. The other reason is because I love math/geometry. My love of math is the reason I wanted to major in accounting in college

I like doing cross word puzzles and other types of word games. I get books that have all different kinds. I know they some have puzzles that deal with numbers in them.
