Tiger Woods, seizures?

I think Tiger Woods had seizures. I think that because:

1. he lost control of his car.
2. His wife had to smash the windshield and get him out of the car fast.
3. He was in and out of conscience. One tonic clonic, came out of it then went into another tonic clonic.
4. There are sublingual medicines to stop seizures fast. I know because I have Lorazepam to stop my seizures real fast. It works
5. He was not in the hospital very long.

He did not do anything illegal. He can afford to pay for the fire hydrant and replace the neighbor's tree.

The police have no right to harrass him and his wife. I do not believe it was a domestic dispute. His wife got him out of the car fast and did CPR. It is nobody's business why a person goes out of their house at 2:30 a.m.

What do you think?
 
It is possible but I"d be very reluctant to start jumping to conclusions. There really is no reason to assume he's had a seizure until reported otherwise.

Either way I think the media should leave the poor guy alone. I know a few people that have bumped their cars into various obstacles & it wasn't as big a deal as this.
 
I, also, think it's too early to start jumping to conclusions. Let Tiger Woods have his privacy, for goodness sake.

and see what happens. It's just another celebrity happening, and he's entitled to his own life, and privacy......
 
An airbag could have easily caused injuries too. Who really knows. I wish he'd be left alone as well.
 
His airbag did not deploy. I do not know why they are harrassing him. I agree, he should be left alone. He did not break the law.

He can afford to pay for the fire hydrant out of his own pocket. I hope he never lets the police in.

I was giving my first impressions. We will wait and see.
 
There are a lot of rumors going around about how his injuries occurred. He hasn't made a statement to the police, and he isn't required to make one to the public -- although he may feel he has to at some point based just to put a halt to all the speculation.
 
Is he required to give a report to the police? The media has access to police documents, when it is just a car accident or drunk driving. They ruled out drinking.

I will be surprised if he makes statement to the public. It is none of their business.
 
I do

believe that he has to answer any questions that the police put forth--but that's it. And if he chooses to have a lawyer present, then he can do that too, but I don't know why he would, it was apparently just an accident.

Now let's leave the poor guy alone.
 
I believe that his lawyer is talking to the police in private. Otherwise, they would put out a search warrant. I do not know why.

It was not a domestic dispute, that is for certain. His wife ran out of the house when she heard the car crash and took one of the golf clubs to break open the window in the car. She got him out of the car and gave him CPR. I believe it is a definite health problem.

If word got to the DMV that he has a health condition, they might take away his driver's license. He depends on driving to make his living. The police would have to report it.

I love golf and I have noticed that he has not shown up for a lot of tournaments. It is not the fact that he has the money. He has a love for golf. I love watching his games.

Meetz, we are not bothering him, I really believe he has seizures.

Nope. He doesn't have to tell the police or media anything. It's none of our business really.
 
I didn't hear anything about him having a tonic clonic. And we can't assume that just because he was in and out of conciseness that he was having seizures. It could have just as easily been because he hit his head on the steering wheel, or because of an asthma attack. Who knows.

I also don't remember hearing anything about his wife doing CPR. The only thing Tiger stated on his website is that his wife had to break the back windows to help him out.

I don't think it is any of our business, but if I were him, I'd be giving up some answers. When your in the public eye like that, your gonna want to dissolve any speculation as to what happened. He could have been going out to a pharmacy open late to get asthma meds, and passed out. But again, that's only speculation...

Don't chauffers and butlers pick up all the meds and do the driving?
Why does he need to do it at that time of day. He doesn't work at night, so there is no need for him to be up at that hour.
Makes you wonder what he was really up to?
If he was tired and on a nutritionally improper diet and does have a seizure inducing illness, he most definitely shouldn't be out at night driving around.
I thought it was strange that he would be driving around at that time of night. Maybe there was an argument over something with his wife, and she felt guilty about it.
He should come clean. Look at how the David Letterman scandle blew over.
 
You can't assume that just because he is rich, he doesn do things for himself. Lots of celebrities do their grocery shopping and laundry themselves, to try and keep normalcy in their lives.

I wasn't assuming that he had a seizure disorder at all. Or any disorder for that matter. Plus he is an athlete, so he would be on a very nutritional diet, as most are, as well as exercise to keep him fit.

Its no big deal to be out that late driving. First off, if he had a seizure disorder, I,m sure he would have mentioned it and been an open advocate for it. Secondly if he had uncontrolled seizures, he wouldn't have his license. Thirdly, he could have been up doing whatever with his wife, like watching a late night movie, and got a craving for McDonald's. Which he is completely entitled to do.

I have on more than one occasion, woke up starved, and didn't want to make anything, so I walked to burger king. He could have done the same thing.

I do agree that there must have been something medically wrong, whether induced or not, to cause a crash that serious just from backing out of his driveway. My guess is that it may have been a reaction to the medication he was given for his knee surgery not long ago. Or a blood clot from the surgery.
 
I think everyone (the media) is making way too big a deal about this. Sometimes people just have accidents, that's why we call them accidents not "on purposes". For all we know he got a cramp in his knee and it caused his knee to lock up and push the pedal down. No one was hurt seriously, and the damage will be fixed. He owes the public no explanation, and since there were no other vehicles involved he really doesn't owe the police any explanation either... Cops around here wont even take a report if there is less than $1000 visible damage to the vehicles.
 
Based upon what I've been reading about Tiger's alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel, the golf club incident is most likely some domestic dispute gone wrong and Tiger doesn't want the whole world in his business. :twocents:
 
As far as leaving him alone goes...any person who makes their money by being in the media spotlight and by being the best in the world ,like it or not, will be in the spotlight 24/7 for anything. He makes good ratings for everyone and good ratings make money.
As far as speculating what happened their are very few reasons for people to up after 2am in their home.
1.He got home from work or was getting ready for work. I would say in his case that is a no.
2. He was out drinking or having a party at home. No reports indicate any of that.
3. Family emergency. The story is too boring for that to be it.
4. He and his wife had an argument and to let off steam he went for a drive. All signs point toward this one. Being the fierce competitor he is I'd say he always wants to win at everything(including arguments). Also no matter how big the home the only way to get away is to actually leave the house. My wife and I along with several other people we know have done the same thing. Difference being that none of us hit something or had the media actually care about us.

Good news is that if this is the biggest story we had a good week.
 
I've seen it mentioned that he has no business being out at 2am. If I want to go out at 2am I should be able to without anyone speculating as to why. I've gone out that late to the grocery store for medicines, diapers or an occassional taquito from a local 24 hr fast food chain. Who are we to say?

Maybe Tiger is a night owl like I am. :D

why not open the door to get him out? How did his little scrawny wife pull Tiger through the front seats, over the back seat and then over the tailgate? If he was backing out how did he hit a tree with the front of his SUV?

I ran into my apartment gate a few years back because my brakes went out, and guess where I stayed for the evening? Was charged with failure to give information... landscaping.. I still don't understand the charge!
It is b.s. that these people are above the law!

To assume he had a seizure is a bit ridiculous in my opinion
