I have not been on CWE very much lately due to family and work. Several work projects all hit key points at the same time and kept me there for extra hours.

Also, my Mom's cancer has returned and much of my free time has been spent there helping care for her, keeping her finances in line, bringing in day time care, and preparing for Hospice.

Mom seems to have accepted the fact that she only has months left and is calm about it. However, issues with confusion are frustrating her and keeping us busy. I spent the night at her house three times this week to make sure she was safe and assist her when needed. The day time aides will take some of the stress off my family.

I just wanted to let all of my friends here know that I am OK. I still think of all of you often and do read postings when I get the chance.

I know many others here have went through this with their parents. I count my blessings that my E is in check and not giving me any problems. Maybe that is God giving me a helping hand.

Everybody take care and I will be back, hopefully soon.

Thanks for checking in Buckeye. It's good to hear from you as always.

In the meantime don't feel guilty about not being around. It sounds like if ever there was a time you should be with family it's now. (boy do I know that!).

Best Wishes to you.

You have a lot going on and I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Keep doing what you have to do -- we'll be here when you come back.

Hang in there Bucky! Things will get better.

The coffee machine still works here. :)

I send wishes for peace to you and your family, and for strength for all you are shouldering now.

Hey Bucks. Good to hear from you....I just wish it could've been with better news.

I had similar issues last year when we discovered my Dad's cancers, but not to the extreme off where your Mom is.

Just remember that Doc's diagnosis' are there to be proved wrong - keep fighting, the both of you. I wish you many more YEARS of good health
