topamax & emotions

my daughter has been on keppra for about a year, & noticed that it has made her emotions fly everywhere, she was always a really happy girl hardly got upset or really angry & agressive (i mean she had her moments) however the keppra made this more pronounced.... we started giving her a multivitamin with a reasonable amount of b6 in it, & that has helped somewhat, however havnt been able to get it for a couple of weeks so is not good right now!!!

we have recently added topamax sprinkles to the keppra it is only the 2nd night, but lastnight i found she did a bit of sleep walking & also had to go to the toilet each time i dont know if that is anything to do with the topamax or anything so am just keeping an eye on that & also her moods seem to be even worse today & am getting worried if the topamax may cause even more mood swings....

has anyone had any symptoms like that with topamax & or keppra??

Some people have problems with keppra, they call it keprage. I'm on it and things set me off like crazy. People say that b6 is helpful to it.

I take topamax along with the keppra and I'm constantly on the toilet, my husband and I go through a roll of toilet paper in two days. I don't think that I've ever sleep walked but I do even wake up at night and have to go.

pretty much everything you said seems very similar to what bai has been going thru with the keppra espec sometimes we dont even know what has set her off!!! i also noticed that even tho shes only had the topamax for 2 nights now, she did have to go to the toilet in the night a lot more than usual (which may end up being a gd thing as she tends to hold on to all her toileting needs as long as possible from when she had a seizure & fell off smashing her 2 front teeth!!! we usually have to go with her at home & at school the teacher sends 2 girls with her just incase something happens!!
