Hey there people. I'm 32 years old, my name is Kaden, from Melbourne Australia, and I have had epilepsy for 15 years now. Tonic clonic is my thing, and I have them to the fullest. Doctors do not know where abouts it happens in my brain, somewhere at the front they said, hmmm, that narrows it down, and I have had all the tests under the sun and spent 2 weeks in hospital to find the slippery little sucker. But no luck.

I just wanted to come on this forum to talk to people or answer questions that worried parents may have about epilepsy. as i said, i have been through it all, and i can tell you that every case is different, but i can give advise on what i know.

Hi fuzzalo, welcome to CWE. Lots of friendly, knowledgable people gather here. Please feel free to share what you like and if you prefer to lurk then that's ok too. You'll find many who understand and can relate to this bumpy road we call epilepsy. Glad you stopped in. :)
 
fuzzalo, welcome to CWE. While I have been having seizures a couple years longer, a chunk of my memory has been taken away in a few operations, so while I have opinions and even from time to time a touch of memories, I may well jump your way with a couple questions :cheers:
 
Welcome, it's great to have you. It's always good to have support however long you have had epilepsy,
What meds are you taking for it?
And how is your control now?

I came her pretty much for the same reason as you and got a lot out of it. You can never know too much. I'm active in other forums unrelated to epilepsy, but this is a new online home for me.

and how goes it? I see we have yet another Australian to keep some of our long-term Aussies company! That's cool!

You and I have the t/c thing in common, though I've had them a bit longer --all my life (I'm older at nearly 50).

There's such a wide mix of people here.....some from the UK, Australia, India, just about anywhere. Bernard has done a great job of making CWE into a proper dinner party for all of us to join into and enjoy, respectfully :D

We're a happy lot here, though I am horrible at burning coffee, so if you're game for making a batch, that'd be great because BuckeyeFan here isn't at the moment.

If you need anything, feel free to let me know.
