Hello everyone!
So i had my facet injections on the 5th and they weren't as bad as i thought!
But a few things were kinda off.
I read that they were supposed to be unilateral meaning even with each other --------
mine were off center about half an inch off right side was higher than the left they said they were going to inject my lower back the injected my middle back. hmmmmmm? Confsued yes i am.
I felt the left but not the right side injection, ususally i dont feel things on my left side due to a TIA from last year, so i was really confused.
Now to the part that I had a little fun with.
so all was said and done with.
The local was still working the steriods were "working" and they brought me back to my "room" and no (sedation) so they did a quick bp and asked how my pain was (well me not being a dummy and knowing after having a few surgeries about having local done before) I told the lady its the same! and the lock on her face was shock! so she leaves, and a few mins later another lady comes in says ok i'm going to bring you a glass of water and you finish it and then once you are done i;m going to give you another bp and ask about your pain and then you are free to leave and i say ok!
so she comes back in 3 min and repeats the same question (mind you the local is still working in full force) so she asks how's your pain now? I tell her the same as before the same!I feel no different than when i hobbled into this place are you sure you didnt just shoot air into me? And tell me it was steriods just to shut me up? OMG the look on her face PRICELESS i wish i would have had my camera her jaw if it could have would have hit the floor.
It has been over 24 hours now and i'm still in the same amount of pain as before.
but I promised everyone here an update after it was done so here it is.
hope you all had a safe 4th of july.
mike
