I know that this is kind of stupid, but I'm hoping that someone can solve an argument between my husband and I.

I don't know if any of you remember the tv/movie show V from the 80's? My question is- When one of the humans sneeks onto the space ship one of the friendly aliens was showing him what was on it. The friendly alien takes him into part of the ship where there are hundreds of humans "frozen" to be taken back to their planet for food. What I want to know is were they taking the humans back to eat themselves or were they taking them back to their planet to feed to some sort of animal so that the aliens could eat that animal?

Like I said this is really stupid, but it's just to settle an argument and I thought someone on here might beable to solve the arguement.

Thanks!:ponder:

I remember that show. I think I only watched 30 mins though.

Did a quick google search and found this:

Editorial Reviews

They came for water. And for food. And as it turned out, we were the food. But humanity bravely resisted - a struggle seen in the hit miniseries V and V: The Final Battle. Yet the war continues. The heroic conflict comes to a surprising outcome in V: The Series, presented complete and uncut in this 3-disc, 19-episode set. Once again, Earth is the main battleground. But now the aliens whose human guise hides their true reptilian natures are wiser. They believe the secret to their survival on Earth lies in the DNA of the newly born half-human, half-spaceling Starchild. They intend to capture her. But that's something the world's Resistance Fighters cannot allow.

I don't know if that helps a whole lot though. :roflmao: And you can buy it here if ya like.

The aliens are going to eat them directly.

I thought we were the food! I was right!:woot:

Thanks for looking into it for me, you're great.

Hey, they had a "twilight zone" episode like that in the early 70's. Friendly aliens came to earth, we welcomed them, then someone found a cookbook that said something like "for humans." everyone assumed the aliens were going to cook for them, then they figured out it was recipies to cook humans!

The Simpsons did a version too. The book/cookbook was called "To Serve Man" ...
