It really is great being able to sit back and relax watching one of my favorite movies, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! I can pretty much repeat and sing along to the whole movie lol. I really only like the movie since Gene Wilder's in it, he's a great actor and fantastic singer. The first time I had seen this was in elementary school.

My oldest niece had watched this with me maybe 10yrs ago, she was about 6, 7yrs old, and about half way though the movie I found her asleep on the loveseat!

I also first seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in elementary school. But that was only after the teacher read us the book first.

Although I do agree that Gene Wilder is a great actor and fantastic singer. The best "songs" in the movie come from the Oompa Loompas. lol :) I find myself to this day, even right now because of this thread thinking of variations of their songs.

IE: Oompa Loompa do-pa-di-do
What would you do about a thread about us
Give it a read, and call it a fuss
Then we should post, then Twitter it to......

lol :)

But I wouldn't waste my watching the new version.

Heheehehe, I saw that movie when i was young and it was great i thought. I was thrilled with watching it. Love it when the fat kid gets stuck in chocolate pipes. :)

Yes, i'll humm the umpa lumpa songs at times too. :)

Watched Captain America recently and found it fun but the product placement was a bit much. Felt like a domestic brand only car ad.
