I am having so much pain from arthritis.
I started taking tylenol Arthritis strength 2 days ago.
TYLENOL ARTHRITIS ONLY LAST ME 10 HOURS, I NEED SOMRETHING TO ADD BUT NOT NOT SURE WHAT.
I chose just because I am can not tolerat3 many medications.

I would like to ask what do you all take for this.

I would appreciate your input.

Do you take a magnesium supplement? Mg can relieve pain by relaxing muscles and nerve endings. And it's good for building strong bones. best of all, it's good for people with epilepsy. Best-absorbed supp form is magnesium glycinate, but if you have problems with pills you can try adding mg-rich foods to your diet.

You might also consult a PT for exercises, postures, and stretches that will take pressure off the joints and strengthen the muscles that support and cushion them.

Good luck!

Have you seen a doctor on arthritis or are you self medicating? Check it out the options you have and if that doesn't work I would see a doctor on this.

Jyearta, I can tell you that people in my family either use Advil or they have had docs prescribe meloxicam (15mg), and that seems to help some (though not completely). Meloxicam is not too expensive, but it does require a prescription. It is a prescription NSAID for osteo and rheumatoid arthritis.

For those out there with arthritis, I'm also curious about doctors you see. Do you just go to an internist, or some type of specialist?

Orthopedic surgeons seem bent on using surgery or injections, so I wondered if anyone tried a rheumatologist, and if so did that help or give a different perspecitve?

I was wondering if you knew anything about when it is appropriate to see a rheumatologist vs and orthopedic surgeon?

My mom’s pain is getting worse in her knees, back, and wrist and I am unsure how to guide her. We saw an ortho surgeon and they are willing to give her cortisone shots, but we are afraid that will mess up her blood sugar (she is pre-diabetic and controls her A1C levels with diet and exercise).

Of course, this arthritis issue has messed up her exercise routine, so we may be screwed either way.

I take dihracodine was taking tramadol but big upset with e.if you staying with natural stuff then turmeric root helpful

People swear by turmeric coconut oil in hard state mix together and wash it down with cider viniger you need strong stomach..turmeric and coconut mix together looks like sh1t having never tried the latter I would imagine it did...is tynanol paracetamol cos if that been working I would think co drysedmol next stop

I have an NSAID prescription for arthritis called mobic/meloxicam that I have been taking as needed, but I saw a new doctor this week who told me to take it every day. I'm in my early 30s, and I kind of doubt it's safe to take this medication daily for the next several decades, but I'll take things one day at a time I guess.
The medication does help me and I haven't had any side effects. I also take it with tylenol sometimes.

Dignan, just saw your question. I see an orthopedic but he also just referred me to a rheumatologist, who seemed to have a different perspective. The rheumatologist said he and the orthopedic could work together to help me. So maybe your mom would benefit from a rheumatologist too!

I use cbd oil (med. marijuana) I also take 2 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with mother in it and it works great. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!
