to get off this roller coaster? i had epilepsy as a kid then outgrew it then in 2003 I had it and no one could figure it out for two years so i had no meds. I had a stroke and the doc referred me to a neurologist who figured it out. been having the seizures off and on seems like forever. when i moved it has gone up to DAILY!!!! :dontknow:

If you're not happy with your current meds, ask your neuro what your options are. Keep trying to find a med, or an alternative treatment (such as neurofeedback) that will do the trick. Be proactive about your overall health, and do your best to identify and avoid any triggers. Keep informed, keep asking questions, don't be afraid to ask for help. And give yourself props for putting up with epilepsy and hanging in there.

Never give up, never stop fighting. I know the feeling of misdirectinon and wanting to throw in the towel. But Nakamova said it all perfectly. I just hope you know the people on here are thinking of you and hope the best for you.
