Wish me luck... Im off to the dentist tomorrow!

I figured I might as well make the appointment now and get it over with. Im not a person who likes to go to the dentist... but I know I have to get it done once a year at least. So... I decided while the kids are in school, Im going to get it done and over with!

The kids will go in march during their week long spring break vacation, that way I dont have to pull them out of school for their appointments.

Im just hoping all goes well and they do the routine cleaning, and say everything looks good!

Well, i just got back.

All is well... the cleaning went great.. exam went ok... they did find a very small start of a cavity in the left upper area. So because I didnt feel it and the dentist didnt see it by just looking at my teeth, but saw it come up on a xray, I said I will come back on wednesday of next week to get it fixed. Luckly, this dentist I go to does both white and silver fillings. So because its a back tooth, and I cant see it, Im just going to ahead and get the silver filling done. He said its hardly there, just a start of one, and wont be as big as a regular filling would be. So I dont mind. Other than that, everything looks good. I scheduled my next appointment for in July, since we can get two cleanings done a year. Might as well take advantage of it since were paying for it!

I hope you get a good report! I dont mind going... but I just dont like it when they start picking at my teeth and then putting the water in my mouth, using the suction spout... and it runs down the side of my mouth! Thats what happened today... and I didnt like it at all! Other than that, I didnt mind going. I did get to pick out my choice of polish! Heck I didnt know they made cookie dough flavored tooth polish! :roflmao: I didnt choose that though! I chose Cinnamon flavored!

I don't care about getting cavities filled, I hate getting my teeth cleaned. And I recall on my last visit getting caught pouring the fluoride rinse down the drain. What a rebel huh!

You can't go wrong with cinnamon Kristin, you made a good choice haha.

I'm the same Muay,
I had to go to the dentist last year & because I hadn't been to the dentist for very long time he cleaned my teeth.
I had to go over 2 visits, 1st time was for the initial checkup, xray & teeth cleaned. The 2nd time was to have another teeth clean & have fillings. I absolutely hated getting the teeth cleaned but wasn't so concerned with the fillings lmao.

Oh my teeth felt great! I got the cinnoman flavored polish for my teeth! then I went back a week later to get that small filling done. so far so good!
