Thanks Randy and Eric - people need to hear more truth about your system instead of media folks with their own agendas.

What seems to never be brought up with this issue is that a HUGE portion of the US is already covered by government insurance.

Everyone over 65 is on medicare.
Those in poverty situations are on medicaid.
All federal workers are covered by a public plan.
The entire military and a portion of veterans are covered.

Rough guess - at least a 1/4 to 1/3 of the US population is on government insurance.

I work for the government. I have BCBS. I pay insurance premiums, deductibles and co-pays.
The government in this case is like any other major employer.
If we could guarantee the illegals won't get any govt. assistance, then I will look at the national health care coverage.
Is the current system broken? Depends upon how you look at it.

Folks, I don't want this to end up being the type of thread that creates rifts amongst the members. This is a support forum and discussing politics is a sure way to create divisions in an otherwise cohesive community.
