I think I posted here about my first genetics clinic report, when I learnt I had XXY sex chromosomes. More recently, my GP wanted a retest, and it turns out I have 9p deletion - 9p24, to be more specific. It's bizarre because I don't have any visible signs, do well in intelligence tests and was in gifted & talented at primary school, and am reasonably functional in everyday life, mental illness and epilepsy aside. I understand that this is extremely rare, but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has, or has a child who has, the same sort of thing. There's not too much info on it online, but the leaflet I was sent tells me that almost everyone with it experiences seizures of one sort or another, and it may also explain my schizophrenia/bipolar/psychotic autism/whatever the doctors say it is today. (One doctor claimed "prenatal PTSD", which I'm pretty certain, er... are you really a doctor, sir? But that's a rant for another time. Sigh... doctors.)
