Well so much for the April's
appointment.

My Neurologist wants to see me on
February 26th, the closest available
appointment he has open; since he
serves multiple Counties / areas, so
I've been booked for that day.

On top of it all, while doing Spring
Cleaning - have been overdoing it
too - I also was going through some
old 3.5 discs I had ... and found some
old medical records (1980 EEG report
and a 1982 Office & EEG report);
and now that I think about it - which
I believe was when I first got the Epson
Scanner with the Win 95 which was
B&W (color was expensive back then),
and I think I tried to scan medical
documents to the disc and it didn't
work too well and I just put them in
there and had forgotten about it.

GOOD THING!

Because those records, especially the
Office Consultation, while it's splotchy,
is VITAL! It proves that there was an
existing problem years before that date
and was back again, and mentions the
"season", and fast forward all the way
up to the current present date ...

One can truly say...

Same old, same old - nothing had
changed.

I phoned my mom about it and told her
what I emailed my sister (my MPC is
out of black ink so I can't print it), and
my mom began to remember, so due
to the Office Consultation - I read it
to her, and she began to remember it
even more, even though it was missing
sections; we're going to bring that in
to the Neurologist - and a copy of that
is going to my Primary as well. It is
very interesting.

Even more so to the fact which I had
the question which ended up being an
argument with the 1st Epi because I
was so confused:

I had always been LEFT Temporal Lobe
and HE (the Epi) was showing me all
of these things on the RIGHT Temporal
Lobe - and I'm trying to figure out...

HOW DID IT JUMP FROM THE LEFT
SIDE TO THE RIGHT SIDE?

That Epi didn't believe me, I did have
one EEG report that disclosed it, but
that was all I had. For I did have 4
metal boxes of medical records before
my divorce; I would have had it all -
but they're gone. But thanks to that
3.5 disc - especially that one document
there ... and the 2 EEG Reports from 2
different years 1980 and 1982, both of
them showing LEFT - that goes with
another EEG Report from 1991 that
also shows LEFT.

:?

What did I do? Did my brain decide
my left side had enough and jump
over the bridge and go to the right
side?

:ponder:

But whatever it did - everything indeed
is problematic on the RIGHT side and
is bad!

Huh? (thank goodness, you already know I'm slow) I don't understand a thing about the left - right confusion. I hope that's cleared up soon. And I hope it's just confusion.
I can't wait to hear how it goes and I'm soooooooooo glad it's not a long wait.

HOW DID IT JUMP FROM THE LEFT SIDE TO THE RIGHT SIDE?

It's just a jump to the left, and a step to the right.

Seriously, it's good to hear from you. I was getting concerned

Guess who's been 'cornered'?

Very funny Bernard with
the video ...

By the way are you planning
on serving FINGER food with
that??? (I mean that literally)

:roflmao:

PS: Folks ... now we have Mr. B cornered!
:evil2:

Updated ...

My Neuro's appointment has been BUMPED up ... after a
very, very early cycle started and having CP, ABS on 8th,
9th, and 10th and finally on the 10th with a T/C when
it all started with my son hearing a "THUD" while I was asleep in
the afternoon, finding me half on and half off the bed and my
head on the floor and nightstand seeing me seizing for a little bit
and he waited until it was over.

Then had me in the middle of the bed and I was sound asleep and
snoring. (how embarrassing) But when I woke up, felt like I've been
beaten up by a gang with baseball bats and for the life of me couldn't
figure out how or why I had a little lump on the back of my head until
I felt it and had to rush to the bathroom, and of course being a little
confused and in a daze, but my son told me what all happened.

But even when I called my mom, she told me I was very slurred
when I spoke with her on the 8th (Friday night) and she could tell
I was all "out of it" and was wondering if I was heading for an early
period?

It was way too early, I've had just about enough! I had plans to phone
my Primary and Neuro on Monday, but I was so out of sync, up and
down all day and night on Sunday and spent most of Monday sleeping
so I ended up phoning my Primary on Tuesday instead, but apparently
the Receptionist knew I wasn't exactly making sense. I had to go
back and lay down - I was all out of sync. While it's rare for me to
get SP's, I was slammed with it on the 12th - zoomed like a light-
ning, starting with my right foot and right hand and went all on my
right side of my body, and it just freaks me out; and I fell asleep.

Wednesday morning, my Neuro's Office called - they've got me
bumped in for the 19th instead of the 26th, and my son told me
that my Doctor got a hold of them.

*sigh*

I hope he can get something going because this is driving me batty!!
My mom was happy to hear that they're getting the ball rolling on
this.. but this is getting to be old, very, very old! It's been going on
for years!

Wow Brain! I hope you have a good doctor's appointment, and I'm sorry to hear about your seizure. I'm just glad your son was around to help you back to bed! Be careful, and I'll be praying for you.

I'll be thinking about you --- wishing you safe ---
The 19th seems so very far away

I'm glad you'll get to see them sooner rather than later. I hope they are able to do something for you.

Gonna need to change your name from Brain to Lumpy! :pfft:

What's the next move?

Saw the Neurologist the other
day and he obtained the historical
medical records and upon seeing
that - instead of making changes,
he put the brakes on everything,
and reverted to asking questions
of what all did they have me on
(meds), and the Gynecological issues,
and a whole lot of questions, after
seeing he's dealing with something
that's been going on for DECADES,
and has been he "same old, same
old" as I've been stating all along.

In addition - having seen more
EEG reports (old ones) - he's begun
to see why I was nicknamed "scatter-
brained" by a highly respected Neuro-
logist (who never was my Neuro but
did a lot of my EEG runs and interpreted
them, but he did treat me a couple of
times and was responsible for putting
me on Dilantin) who is retired and he
knew who he was - and we go back
DECADES.

This was of concern to him. He was
serious. While my meds remains
untouched, he's got a whole new
ballpark to look at now - however,
I have to keep the cycle log going,
and to phone him if I have any bad
seizures.

He's got a real big load on his hands
right now after seeing all of this, and
I have everything to back it up and to
sustain it - but the vital one, in spite
of it being corrupted, as it came from
my old 3.5 disc that I had scanned
from years ago - contained some very
important information including
established historical information that
it existed long before the date of its
writing (1982) and that I had been a
long time patient - for Decades.

It's proof in the pudding.

I do not know what his next move will
be after when he studies all of this.

Glad to hear that your docs not just upping the meds, and is stopping to actually study the info. Good luck Brain. :) I'll keep you in my prayers.

film

Simply flip the film over and the activity will flip back to the right side.:gob: Good Luck at the Dr. office.

Hey Lumpy! Are you still gimping around? :pfft:

Is you knee doing any better? Sure hope there is no tendon damage.

Hey Lumpy! Are you still gimping around? :pfft:

Is you knee doing any better? Sure hope there is no tendon damage.

Gimping around? Heck no!
More like overdoing it! And putting
myself into a seizure-mode.

:(

As for my knee, it's still swollen,
my Neuro saw it and shut his eyes.
And my head he can still see the
faint bruise and you can still see
where it was all at. My knee "clicks"
but my Primary said it would do it
but would take about a month or
two to heal. To me, it still looks
'lop-sided' on one side. But I'm
moving around, but can only stay
on my leg for so long before it all
starts to begin to bother me.

I've been in and out of CWE all
day today while raking up the
lawn, we've got a storm coming
in and I hope it brings in heavy
rain all because all these Oak
Trees have HEAVY POLLEN!!!!!!!
(notice all the exclamation marks?)

We are praying that the winds
will BLOW SOUTH and HARD so
it would be someone else's problem
for a change (I need a break), I've
already raked my yard 3 times, and
I do NOT even own an OAK TREE,
all my neighbors do and they're so
lazy that they let the winds blow it
all over to my property. I cannot
handle all of these leaves!

My greatest worry is - I'm out of
sync a little bit right now and not
feeling in proportion, if I'm making
sense? I've got I think 11 bags of
leaves on my driveway and I lost
count how many in the backyard.
And I just had 14 bags hauled off
TODAY (garbage man came). Not
to mention having raked 3 weeks
earlier I think or maybe 4 weeks
earlier ... *sigh* but at least the
leaves are gone ... now it's the pollen
and this year's stock is exceptionally
heavy; last year was nice for a change
(LIGHT) and the storm and rain did
wash them all away.

My son and I (and my mom too) are
allergic to pollen, so we're all praying
that this storm will do a heck of a
blow-job and a complete wash-out
where it will eliminate a major relief!

Our end, we're fortunate to have EARLY
bloomers; I hate the late bloomers. So
both my mom and I had been busy
today.

I'm going to be signing off and sleeping
and I think I hope I didn't repeat myself
here. But I think I really overdid it all today,
and I hope I didn't put or going
to put myself into a seizure mode.
All because I'm starting to get these
stupid freaking auras.

*sigh*

No fun!

So I'm going to sign off and get some
sleep now.

Hey you ought to do what they do here in the southwest. Get a leaf blower and blow that stuff back where it came from.

My hillbilly neighbor next door has a dirt yard. Every time the wind blows it fills my carport with dirt and trash. I have Old Man get the leaf blower out and return her dirt. :noevil:
