Why am I awake so earlt on a Sunday? I am having some really intense funny feelings in my stomach. Its like hitting that first hill on a roller coaster. So intence I feel sick. How can I stop theses?

Something I learned when I started on my research about E, is that there are similar chemicals in the stomach as in the brain. Remember the saying... "I have a gut feeling"? Seizures can occur in the stomach. You might consider working on ways to relax before heading off to bed.

You might find something helpful here:

Thanks for the info. They finally stopped, after a trip to the grocery store, and a 3hr nap. Horrible, I hate that feeling. I dont ride coaster for that exact reason, but to wake to that feeling. yuck

Robin's right

The other thing that I do, when I REALLY need to calm my stomach down like that.....is a cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea.....

I have this feeling in my stomach often and just found out it is related to the epilepsy. Before I was diagnosed I described it as a "floating anxiety" because it did not seem to be related to any particular event or stress in my life. Shortly before my major seizure it was really intensifying. My understanding is that this is most common with temporal lobe epilepsy - is that correct??

I am not sure that the gut is related to Epilepsy alone. It certainly is related to the brain. They have found similar chemicals in both. That is where the saying "gut feeling" comes from.
You might also consider the health of your "gut", in relationship to your brain function.
It makes it a total body recovery, and not placing it solely in one part of the brain.

Yep my neuro said that it was a aura, most common in tle. But I wonder if it really is, because it hits me all the time, and never progresses.
