My doctor has ramped me up to 2000mg of Keppra daily in addition to my600mg of lamictal. The moodiness and tiredness I first expierenced with the Keppraare back just in time for the holidays. He said I could increase my lamictal dose instead of the Keppra but I would have more side effects, I doubt this. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice, thanks.

I take lamictal and if I am honest I do not understand how when he says you would have more side effects, I think it would be the other way around.

That is what I am feeling after a couple of weeks of this lamictal never gave me side effects this bad. I feel like little things that normally I would brush off tick me off and make me argumemtive with the people around me which is not part of my personality, my wife has commented a lot ONI this.

My wife made the same comments to me when I was put on keppra, I know it does not affect everybody. I am on 1200 mg daily of lamictal and while I did notice some side effects at the start, things seem fine at the moment.

Yes, me and my wife have gotten into some arguments about relatively minor things maybe it is holiday stress and the Keppra. 1200mg of lamictal seems like a lot it is great you tolerate that well do you ever have short term memory issues I am not sure if that is related to either of those drugs but read that it might be a side effect. thanks!

Do you take a B-vitamin supplement Jezy? B6 is supposed to help with keppra's mood-related side effects.

no, but I have read here that pele use it, I think I will try it.
