drowsiness

I am still on the tritation pack of Lamictal XR given to me from my Neuro. I finished the 25mg weeks. I am now on the 50mg dosage. The problem I have is within about an hour (2 hours max) I feel like I've taken a sleeping pill, I'm that drowsy. Is this normal? Will it go away once my body...
