1 year and 4 months

I made it one year and four months with zero seizures then, bam! stress from being evicted and working 70 hr weeks hit me on Friday and I had a focal to bilateral tonic clonic. The lemonade I got from this was that it happened in a well-lit, recorded room and we got all of it on camera! It has been eye opening and I’ve been able to make some fantastic jokes about it happening at work.
Also, I’ve recovered mentally so much more quickly from this time than others.

Really sorry to hear about your seizure! I KNOW that stress & tension can trigger my seizures, but sometimes not immediately. I have had complex partials while in stressful situations. That is the reason I do not work. I had a few VERY SCARY things happen which made me decide not to work despite completing 2 degrees. I've also had times where something may have been bothering me subconsciously, & suddenly had a seizure while sitting there, doing things I enjoy. I often joke with my neurologist about my Rx--saying "let's see how long it takes for my brain to become immune to this". I have taken EVERY AED out there & still get breakthrough complex partials--at one point it was 2-3/week, now it is around 1/month. I take 500MG Zonisamide & 300MG Xcopri.

16 months seizure free sounds awesome (relative to what my wife is experiencing). Sorry about the seizure, but it sounds like you didn't suffer any injuries while falling or convulsing, so silver linings I guess!
