Well its my second day of taking 1200mg of tegretol per day, feeling a little better, fingers crossed its not just a calm before the storm!!, my GP sent me straight too hospital sunday night after ten seizures last week, was on a drip all night then they upped my dose, sending me too an epilepsy specialist now, the A+E doctor was fuming with how ive been treated that he stayed an extra hour too make sure it was all in place god bless his heart!!
 
I've been on 800 mg of Tegretol for ever. I've always tolerated well. let me know if you have questions or if your having issues.
 
Hate the stuff trying too get off if not up it!! But do for now I spose
 
Please try not to take the experiences of others (good or bad) as an indicator of how you will do. Everyone responds differently to medications. Make yourself aware of the side effects that are worrisome and should prompt a call to the prescribing doctor, and those side effects that, IF they occur, are just a bump in the road that make take a few weeks to get through. Otherwise just take it day by day, based on your own experience with the medication. Continue to take notes on how you feel with it.
 
Been nearly six months no let up prob just not the med for me only one I've tried lots mire out there
