I had my 1st. seizure today after 8/12 months seiz. free.

I notice at church that my gate was off somewhat, didn't think to much of it. I really thought it could have something to do with the fact I pulled a muscle in my left side a week ago Fri.

I had worked in my flower garden on a week ago Fri. then on last Sunday buying groce. I place some bleach on bottom shelf of groc. cart and thats when I felt it.

I had company coming in on Monday, so with that I cooked each meal, took my friend out shopping/you know the usual things you do when company comes in.

SOOOOOORY for such a long story, welllll that is one of the things I seem to do.

after I got home, the deja vu came on, I got to a chair and then my seizure came on.

Years ago when I had a seiz. they would just keep coming on until I took a valium to break the circle.

After being in this forum --keeping records of EVERYTHING --I noticed today for the 1st time--I had the one seizure and that was all. I feel fine now.

Oh man after so long too.....what a bummer. Here goes the clock again. Heres for a longer break this time Heres to hoping : ) Sounds like another med adjust to me. Glad it was just 1 seizure and not one after another like it used to be and that you are ok. I myself am going on my hoping 6 months this week if everything goes well this week I have hormone triggered seizures. So here's to hoping and praying for a seizure free week for me! Hope no more happen for you either. hope they can figure this out for you quickly about why you had this one.

So sorry to hear after such a long break. I agree with tina, they will try to adjust your meds. Was there anything you could tink of that was a trigger?

So sorry and after such a long time. Maybe just an isolated incident because of all the gardening and company coming planning and cooking; it is always more work than I think it is anyway.

Take care
Mary

Sorry to hear about your seizure Jyearta.
Hope you are feeling better soon

Thank you all.

I'm think the trigger here is stress.

My husband is getting ready to retire in 2 years if all goes the way he has he planned.

He is looking to moving up in the north GA mountains. I love it there, but my 1st thought is where will I find a Dr. I just found the one I'm currently seeing just last Sept. and you all know what it's like trying to find a good Dr.
I want to share this time in our life and not let E. stop me from experiencing it.

I have made my concerns known to him.

I live in WHAT IFS.

What if he gets sick and it is up to me to get us to the DR. shopping, pharm. ETC. There are days when I just have that feeling DON'T GET BEHIND THE WHEEL.

Sorry to hear about the seizure -- Hope you are feeling better now.
