Is anyone prescribed 2 different kind of meds such as Keppra in a.m. & another brand in pm? Thanks.

I have two, Phenobarbitol and Valproic Acid but I take them all at once at bedtime. My seizures are nocturnal.

I take three different types meds.I take TegretolTopamx in the AM.

noon-Tegretol

In the Pm I take Tegretol,Topamax Phenobarb

I take Keppra morning and at bedtime. I take Topomax at lunch and at p.m. meal.

I take Depakote, Tegretol, Keppra and Lamictal. I take a dose of all of them in the am and pm.

I take Carbatrol and Zonegran AM and PM, but Topamax at night. Often when I titrate up, I will take one medication at night for a week or so.

Not me, i told my doc, lets go through all the medicines one by one before we start adding on different drugs. That way I can know if one does effect me or not, or just makes things worse. But that is my case, i have seizures like once every one or two months.

Now if seizures happen daily or quit often, then do whatever works.
