I'm wanting to stop it. it is just making things worse. my doctor's office is already closed today, but I have a prescription to pick up, which I don't really want, other than to maybe taper. I haven't taken any today, and my dose is 250mg. I think I could handle things pretty well as long as the seizure risk is not amplified.
so far it has just seemed like that's what the drug has been doing, making things worse.

I wouldnt advise stopping without a consultation but at least if you are going to stop it taper it down, dont just go cold turkey, you could make things a lot worse for yourself

I am going to ask the pharmacist too, but I'm just wondering if anyone here has. epilepsy meds scare the shit out of me! miserable existence

I am tapering off lamactal at the moment slowly and thats bad enough, cant image going cold turkey on it

Cherriuz is right, the taper dose my neurologist recommends is 50 mg every 2 weeks.
