Hi All,
My neurologist was very supportive of whatever I chose to do, but she did warn me that having a 2 week EEG could actually worsen my epilepsy, to the point where sometimes she has to change medications completely for her patients because the provocation of seizures really "stirs the pot". She cautioned me against it because at the time I had settled down, but in the last few weeks the seizures have started up again, so that helped me decide to go ahead with the EEG. I have requested we do it slowly though, and I have the 2 week timeframe so I can do that.
Any experiences with your epilepsy changing after what I imagine will be a rough time for our bodies? How long did it take for you to get back to normal life, be ready for work etc?
Really appreciate your thoughts xxx
