Interesting! In a way, the cognitive behaviour modification approach discussed in the article is a bit like a conscious version of what is achieved with bio- or neurofeedback. In both treatment approaches, the individual learns to recognize situations (or brainwaves) that can be potentially epileptogenic, and through self-training, is able to pre-empt or suppress seizure onset.
