My Twin and I received a great surprise last night from our family, for both our bday and as a thank you for watching our sister's kids so often, we're, my Twin, older sister and I will be going to Florida in October and visiting Disneyworld and Universal Studios!

That sounds like a blast! I wish I could just get out of this place every once in a while! :P

My Twin is extremely excited, she's never been on a plane or has truly left Minnesota, I went to disneyworld back in high school, but she's even more excited for universal studios and the harry potter theme park, and let me tell ya, she deserves this much more than I do! All of our cell phones will be full with pictures and video so i'm hoping I can convince my father to let me buy a digital camera.

But I, of course, have to worry about 1 thing and that's my twins shunts, she has Hydrocephaly, and how will the shunts handle the different pressures during the flight? I was told years ago that she wouldn't be able to fly because of the shunts and the risks of them bursting. My father say's that they'll be fine but they were last replaced about 13yrs ago. I could care less about my having a seizure, I'll buy some adult diapers to wear to save on some of the embarrassment, but my Twin can get VERY sick if one or all of the shunts burst.

You will love Florida in October! Best time of year to be here. Not too hot, not too cold. Have fun!

Minnesota girl! I was born and grew up in Owatonna! We still have a small family farm up there where my mom grew up. I'd love some Minnesota summertime right now rather than this Texas summer (except for the mosquitos).

petero, Hi! Well, Minnesota summertime is close to the end lol, well upper Minnesota that is, thanks to Lake Superior (it's always easy to blame the lake) it looks like fall's starting early, leaves have been falling for the past couple of weeks. I've always found it irritating how fast fall arrives since it seems that once the leaves have almost all fallen, we get the first snow storm.

I'll trade with you if you'd like, I'll take the Texas heat if you want, and yes, I'll keep the mosquito's!
