Really not a big whoop, but here I am. I'm very fortunate to have the medical support I'm receiving.
I have what should be a positive follow up appointment with my neuro doctor. They always have you complete an online questionnaire. Asking the same questions every time. Mostly reviewing the past few months. How many seizures? Have you missed any doses of your medication? Have you wanted to harm yourself or others? How satisfied are you with your quality of life? Quite a few more questions that will really make you think. Then a review of all your meds, confirm follow up tests and appointments, confirm pharmacy, etc....
My insurance company will call me as a follow up service. They rehash the entire thing over the phone. I received a call the day after I completed the Doctor's questions. I spoke with a very nice woman for about 20 minutes. They always try to be helpful by giving me tips to protect myself at home. I was once again reminded to be sensible about where I place my nightstand next to my bed. Sorry, but I've had over 100 nocturnal seizures. I'm good with the nightstand.
Not much of a rant. It was just coincidence I had to go through it twice in only a couple days. Can't get it out of my head, so here I am.
Hope everyone has a peaceful day.
