What happens during you absence seizures? I think I may be having absence and not complex partials, how would I know the difference?
....no offense, but your moving Rose really messes with my visual sense. Does it seem to bother anyone else?

I used to have absence seizures after a head injury many years ago. For me it was like being in a very strong day dream with me drifting in and out of consciousness. I was on Tegretol for a few years too.

Absence seizures are more common in children, but adults can definitely have them too. Usually they are very brief (a few seconds) compared to complex partials. An observer might think that you are daydreaming. For the most part, there's no confusion afterwards, but also no memory of the incident.
