has anyone experienced low white blood count while on zonisamide or any other AEDS and is not have an infection of any sort. My daughters wbc is significantly low been on zonisamide for about a month and a half was on keppra before. Any help??? Bloodwork was repeated and results still low

Like many of the AEDs, Zonisamide can cause low red and white blood cell counts. (Lamictal does the same for me). Has your daughter had any other side effects or health issues? If her WBC is just below the normal range, but she is otherwise healthy, it may be okay to continue on the med. If her WBC is very subnormal, the Zonisamide may be problematic. Definitely worth discussing with her neurologist. Get in touch with him/her quickly if your daughter develops fever, sore throat, sores in her mouth, or unusual bruising.
