Hi all. I have also started the Gard diet. I went to the grocery store last night just to pick up a few things to get started over hte next 3 days until I get more info on what I can eat.
I wrote down the list of all the stuff that cannot be in food and it was a nightmare finding cereal bars.. LOL.. there were none I could buy.. so if anyone knows any cereal bars I can get that are not expensive.. let me know
So... some of this may be wrong..
Fresh Salmon...(2 packages of it)
All Natural Newmans own Olive Oil and Vinegar salad dressing (the most expensive thing I bought, but will last a while and cannot eat veggies with nothing on lol)
Apples
Bananas (please tell me these are ok.. I know they have sodium in)
Avacado (PLEASE tell me these are OK)
Carrots
Would like to ask if brown rice is OK ? and potatoes ?
So far this morning I just ate an apple.
I really am not heavily into food...or a food freak .. so I dont think its going to be much of a problem with food .. HOWEVER>>>>>>
here is my weakness. coffee. I have cut down consideraby over the past week.. I dont even want to tell you how much I was drinking.. now I drink half a cup.. and tomorrow Im going to try none.
Also smoking.. (yessss so bad) these are my weaknesses
( I was never into junk food or anything .. I exercise.. its just these 2 things darn it ! lol.. so I have also cut down on this... and really want to stop because its expensive...
The thing is.. I think why I like coffee and smoking is becuase Im doing something with my hands...I have cut down though..
I dont feel coffee will be a problem from tomorrow since Ive only been on 1/2 a cup...
but I know the only way I can stop smoking is all out cold turkey .. thats the only way I did it in the past.. I quit for 6 months before...I have in total been smoking about 3 and a half years.
