So this morning 8am I awoke to another seizure (yes a REAL SEIZURE!) not a spell!!
feels weird to finnaly have a real dx, had bad migraine all day, more back pain than normal, brain fog all day, havent woke up till now.
Had urination again, a small amount of blood in my mouth again (all in my journal.

Now the plus side, then the other questions for the brains here!
tomorrow I see an epilesy doctor and on tuesday I have an MRI for paresthesia, and the new neuroshrink is also checking for lesions on my brain, for possible MS, and also doing med level checks tomorrow.

Has anyone ever had a sharp stabbing pain above their left eyebrow about 1.5 inches? that causes blurry vison? vertigo? off balanceness? that lasts for roughly 5-20 min that comes and goes 3-5x a day for 3 days in a row and had it happen 2x today as well.

just thought I'd update everyone since I havent in a few.
Thanks again everyone.

Mike

I have the pain but not the blurry vision, off balances but it does last and the pain does come and go I also sometimes have it on the right side as well. sometimes i get the blurry vison but it does not last long maybe a few seconds usually upon waking only. Not very common sympton with me though and it just started recently with me.

It sounds like a migraine variant . Does it respond to any painkillers? Are there any things (locations, positions, times of day) that make it better or worse?

After I have a seizure I usually always have a horrible headache. The headache is more in the lower part of my head than it is on my forehead, I think people have their headaches in different parts of their heads though.

The headaches I have will last for hours, normally 3 or longer. I usually put a bag of ice on my head and put a pillow over my face to block out all the light, and fall asleep when the headache hits. Sometimes I'll put my head phones in too so I can block out all the other noise that's going on and I can concentrate on the music, I don't know why but this helps me.

I had a headache that lasted for at 8 hours if not longer once. I had the seizure around 6pm, the headache started shortely after that. I layed on the couch then and slept and got in bed around 11. I woke up around 2 and the headache was still there, not quite as bad but I still had it.

I get blury vision and double vision a good bit of the time too. I know one of the meds can cause it. I think it might be Topamax but I might be wrong, someone will correct me if I am I'm sure, thank you to who ever it is. I'll be dizzy with that and I'll usually have to close one eye to see strait so I don't fall over when I'm walking. The vision problem will last for a good while. I usually just lay down with a pillow on my head and take a nap, it will be gone when I wake up. It has happened for a one or two days in a row sometimes. It usually happenes at lest once a month.

thanks for the replies and it reponds to nothings and the topamax and keppra were orignally "just for migraines" from my old neuro.

Till I got the new one to listen and they happen in days I dont have seizures, I'll be sitting doing nothing and bam! out of the blue or sitting reading someones post on here or chaating with someone on another site when I'm not in pain or when I'm just resting, and at any time of day morning noon night. and thats another reaosn I think he wants the MRI done asap as well as for MS testing to see if anything popped up since the last one was done.
like right now as I'm typing its starting to flare and my migraine from this morning was compltely gone and done and now its startiing up and I was just laying doen lights off comp was on watching a movie no flashy stuff anaconda and anything that may trigger me I close my eyes and cover my face just like I told my new neuro so I dont have issues and he told me thats always for the best!
thoughts?!
