About a week ago when I was driving a car hit my van pulling out of a gas station (nothing serious). I was, of course, a little shook up due to the fact that in the 21 yrs that I have been driving I have never even been in the slightest accident. When I get nervous my right leg starts acting up (my neurologist says they are partial seizures). Since then the muscle in that leg has been hurting to the point of having to limp everywhere I go. I don't know if since my seizures were preexisting if I can even claim it on the insurance claim or if I even should because of the risk of my license being pulled when the BMV finds out that I had problems with seizures when driving. I need to have it looked at to see what I can do to fix it but I am scared of the consequences for stating that it happened because of the accident and also the consequences of not mentioning it.
The lady asked me what was wrong with me since I almost fell over when I went to get out of my car and I told her I have a seizure disorder that gets stirred up when I get nervous, so she is aware that I was having the problems and was really nice about it. Of course just like everyone else she asked me how I was able to drive when I have a seizure disorder. I told her that I only have them in my sleep (at lease full tonic clonic seizures in my sleep)
Does anyone have any suggestions?
