Anyone ever wake up in the middle of the night with their bed sheets off the bed? I woke up last night with most or all of my bed sheets on the floor. It probably was a seizure. The main sheet hadn't moved at all. I know I DID take my meds. I was recently diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and have been using my CPAP machine every night. If it was a seizure, I don't really know why it happened.

Yes

This happened to me one night with a Tonic Clonic, which my mother had witnessed. She stated after the seizure I threw all the covers off the bed and then with my pointer and thumb (pinching) the fitted sheet trying to pull it off. She said I did that for a good 1/2 hr. and I was really concentrating on this and very intent. I finally managed to get the fitted sheet off by literally pinching a part of it until I was finally able to pull it up with my 2 fingers (king size bed) and then proceeded to wrap myself up in it and went back to bed. I had no recollection of this until the next morning when she told me. I'm assuming that's apart of the automatism < spelling? I tend to all sorts of things with my hands after a seizure (picking at things, brushing my hands on my thighs as though they were went, strumming a guitar, etc.) These are with my Complex Partials and thankfully I haven't had a TC in years.

I haven't woken up with the sheets on the floor since I was a teenager but back then I was a much deeper sleeper, probably from being on 3 types of AED's.

It's still a guess, but it might have been caused by alcohol withdrawal. 24 hours after drinking.

I woke up the other night with one of my duvets lying on the floor, and the other one was upside down with me sleeping inside the duvet cover. Dunno how that happened :dontknow:

I have two duvets cos i'm permanently cold haha :pop:

Many times.. but I dont put it down to a seizure..(I dont have tonic clonics) it could just be tossing and turning in bed

Nah i don't think mine was due to seizure either. Just really really odd. Must have been dreaming in the night hehe.

My poor guy! I'm a restless sleeper most nights. We have the bed set up so that I can't fall out of bed. Between the way I usually sleep and the seizures landing on the floor use to be a common occurance. We each have our own blankets cuz otherwise he'd freeze at night. I either hog the blankets, rolling into a cocoon, or they end up on the floor! You know they love you when they go out and buy a new duvet to avoid the argument :roflmao:

All the time. My hubby also has to deal with my myoclonics when I sleep *this usually results in a beating until he walks up and then tells me to move over* We even tried to buy those sheet clips to keep the sheet on the bed. I fall out of bed and try to hang onto the sheets to catch myself or slow it if I know that its inevitable.

Oh, yeah,

more than once, even with my husband in the bed...*smirk* I ripped them right out from under him.....:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
