onder::My son had been on Celontin many years ago and actually had some good results but we discontinued it in favor of another medication. We were looking to reintroduce it to him. I'm looking for anyone's feeling about this drug. My son is 25 and isn't able to talk about how different drugs make him feel so we have to guess. It would be really helpful if someone could explain how they feel and/or how this drug works for them.He has been on just about everything and he still has slight seizure(s) every day. The worst part is the side effects of all his drugs. He is manic and has been tryed on many anti-phycotic drugs and they have made him worse. We are also looking for a drug to calm him a bit. Haldol makes his epilepsy worse and he falls, Valium has not worked and he is currently on Ativan and generic Lithium and I'm sure it takes him down a notch but he is still talking loudly, yelling, swearing and very unable to go out into the public as he is offensive to many people. We are working constantly with doctors but they say he is one of the worse cases they have seen and just say he has "epileptic physcosis". This is hard to take and I hope we can find the right medicine combination to help him.
Any suggestions??? Please.
