http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aphasia
I'm used to having audio aphasia where either I speak gobbledygook or it sounds like the other person is speaking gobledygook (when they aren't). Sometimes I actually am speaking gobbledygook, sometimes I'm actually speaking normally and it just sounds screwed up to me.
New one this week. I kept reading a telephone number wrong. I went to recharge my phone online, typed in my userid and password, and up pops my phone number, but it was the wrong number. Every time I re-did it, mixed up phone number. This lasted about 30 seconds to one minute. Then after a few tries it was finally right. I called the phone company's web tech help and there were no known problems. I think the processing problem was in my brain.
About half an hour later I went into my credit card's website and clearly saw a whole page on the topic I wanted. It flashed for about 3 seconds. Then it was gone - the page/tab had closed. I went back in to find the page and couldn't find it, then called cc company's web tech help and they told me no such page exists. I'm guessing hallucination instead of some kind of visual aphasia?
I know we have all kinds of weird seizures. I'm wondering what the heck this one was?
And no, I'm not going to ask my neuro. Every time I bring a new kind of seizure to him he gives me this look that frankly insulting, so I've quit telling him. Good doc, but good two-way communication is not his strong suit.
