Apo Divalproex

I started taking this as soon as I finished my week stay at the hospital which was May 30th. Nothing but problems since I started taking it. Severe joint pain, headaches and unexplained bruising. And sad, man oh man, I am very happy and have a good life but can just start crying over nothing. Let me know if you have or have had any problems while taking this.

Body as a Whole:
Chest pain, chills, chills and fever, fever, neck pain, neck rigidity.

Cardiovascular System:
Hypertension, hypotension, palpitations, postural hypotension, tachycardia, vasodilation.

Digestive System:
Anorexia, fecal incontinence, flatulence, gastroenteritis, glossitis, periodontal abscess.

Hemic and Lymphatic System:
Ecchymosis (bruising)

Metabolic and Nutritional Disorders:
Edema, peripheral edema.

Musculoskeletal System:
Arthralgia (joint pain), arthrosis (joint inflammation), leg cramps, twitching.

Nervous System:
Abnormal dreams, abnormal gait, agitation, ataxia, catatonic reaction, confusion, depression, diplopia, dysarthria, hallucinations, hypertonia, hypokinesia, insomnia, paresthesia, reflexes increased, tardive dyskinesia, thinking abnormalities, vertigo.

Respiratory System:
Dyspnea, rhinitis.

Skin and Appendages:
Alopecia, discoid lupus erythematosis, dry skin, furunculosis, maculopapular rash, seborrhea.

Special Senses:
Amblyopia, conjunctivitis, deafness, dry eyes, ear pain, eye pain, tinnitus.

Urogenital System:
Dysmenorrhea, dysuria, urinary incontinence.

I'm sure folks will chime in with their feedback, but you can also search for comments using the tab at the top (you might need to look for "Depakote" "Valproate" "Valproic Acid" or "Depakene" -- all alternate names for the stuff).

Here's the reactions I've having

Chest pain, palpitations, twitching, Abnormal dreams, confusion, depression, thinking abnormalities, rhinitis, Dyspnea and probably more. Add on the memory loss, double/blurred vision, headaches, dizzyness and I'm in great shape :roflmao: And the doc says it's ok and won't get me pot for medication which worked well before I stopped.
