From an area that is notorious for fires (SoCA) my heart goes out to all those that lost precious memories and are suffering any hardship due to the recent fires.

The Canadian Aussies have now returned back home and the other Aussie ....

UPDATE:

The Canadian Aussies headed home early;
it is a DIRE MESS was what they wrote in
their email to me, since they reside in a huge
home, far from the wildfires. He also has
multiple warehouses. They have now pushed
aside supplies to house some individuals on
one side of the building - restricted to those
with children ONLY!

=========================

Now for the other Aussie, whom I have
very close rapport with; she is fine and every
one else is fine. Because she does not have
any internet access - she was able to borrow
her neighbor's internet to be able to send a
mass email news notification all at once to
everyone. Unfortunately, she has not a clue
of the status of their town. The media is
saying this and implying that - showing this
and showing that and as she typed in;
the only truth will be known will be found
out when I will return (her husband can't
due to his poor health).

No further than that - we will have to wait
until she goes down there to see for herself.
