I had 2 seizures back in 2008 but the docs concluded that it had been a one time thing. I had a couple of close calls a couple of years later but it never went farther that some pretty heavy auras. Then I had 2 more seizures last year and they put me in a clinic for a couple of weeks and really checked me out thoroughly. They diagnosed me with Epilepsy and started me on Lamotrigine. I started on 200 mg per day and am now up to 350 mg.
