Several weeks ago I was going through numerous books in order to see what I'd want to keep, and what to put into a garage sale (aka "redneck outlet mall"). And while glancing through one book I came across a photo that definitely caught my attention. So I scanned it onto my computer, did some touch-up work, and then typed up part of what was said in the description of the photo underneath the photo.

Take a look at this photo folks, and then tell us what you would do if the guy with the stick in his hand was somewhat like you doctor; or if either of the other two people were someone you knew.:whip1:

p.s. click on the photo to enlarge it.

Sadly, I've heard that some people still think like that. There is a real stigma attached to mental illness, and indeed all illnesses which are not easily placed into simple catagories or which are hard to understand.

It's certainly an interesting picture.

Uh yeah.

I still know some people like that, too, unfortunately, which is why I don't talk to them anymore.

It is nothing but sheer STUPIDITY and IGNORANCE.
