Hi everyone :)

its been a while since we've been on here and posted at all, due to wedding and my pregnancy, but we're back!

We now have some kind of diagnosis for DH after all the troubles we had this time last year, DH does have epilepsy...and NEAD. he's now on carbagen 800mg daily which is controlling the E seizures...but not the NEAD. still waiting on that front!

hope everyone who gave us some advice/kind words/kick up the arse last time is doing well....

Congratulations and well done to both of you. Good to see you again.

But its a fantastic start to a new year for you.

Sounds like things are going the right direction for you both! I hope your husband's NEAD seizures can get under control. Are they visibly different in terms of symptoms than his epileptic ones?

Thank you :) they are not really visibly different from his 'standard E' ones no.
He still has the hyperventilating-like breathing, and the tonic-clinic style shaking, but they are over in a matter of seconds, and he remains conscious.
He still has the blinding headache, but no real aura to speak of, which is worrying as he doesn't always get chance to get on the floor, so they're similar to drop seizures.
Xx
