Did they check your thyroid? How about your hormonal levels? Do you have low blood sugar? These could all be possibilities that lead to seizures.

Hi Dancer31Erica, welcome to CWE!

Unfortunately, seizures can come out of nowhere at any time, and they don't always show up on EEG. And for the majority of folks with epilepsy, the primary cause can't be determined. (BTW, technically, two seizures is considered enough for an epilepsy diagnosis -- have your docs suggested this and/or put you on any medication?).

In addition to the primary health concerns Cint raises, it can help to try and rule in (or out) any secondary triggers: Any chance you were dehydrated at either episode? Do you take any supplements? Is your diet basically well-balanced? Do you have any history of migraines or photosensitivity? Any head trauma (even minor) in your recent or distant past?

No medication yet. Doctor still . Wants to run some tests. Not dehydrated had a bottle of water and a shake before my seizure. No history of anything listed

anyone can have a seizure, there doesn't have to be a reason or family history of seizures.

My fingers are crossed for you Dancer31Erica. Do hope things are determined quickly so you don't have to wait too long in a great step forward
