Awesome! It must be really nice to bike and run in Florida -- no hills! You should come here to north central Kentucky and see how you like it! :razz2:

Hey!

HEY! We DO have ...

HILLS here!

:pfft:

Some of them are SO STEEP,
well in fact, maybe my son and I
will do a tour to the CLIFFS, just
to PROVE IT! But if you were here
in person it'd make you dizzy and y'all think
you WERE still in Kentucky! LOL!

Why do you think the NEW Bridges are so
HIGH UP? Think about it - Main land is way
up there, and barrier Islands are way down
there ...

:ponder:

Easy to ZOOM down, but just try to ride back
up! *laughs* NOW that's a different story there!

PS: Our family lineage is from Kentucky, some of
the Counties and Cities are named after our ancestors.
:)
Been to Old Kan'TOC'key many times!

Hmmmm. I'm not sure where Brain county is. Must be somewhere in western KY.

I'm not sure where it is either. Good question where is Brain county?

In Florida - just on the other side of Tampa.

:)

We have very steep Cliffs here.

It can be quite challenging cycling up
and down like this.

I reside in the 2nd highest elevation
in this County, which by the way is
Florida's SMALLEST County in the
entire State!

Here's some FACTS:

1) If a Hurricane ever strikes here, Tampa
and St. Petersburg would be a 'thing of the
past' - for a Hurricane would wipe them
completely OUT!

2) I would become an Islander (and this would
mean my property value would go through the
roof)

3) This County is barely a Peninsula, we are hardly
attached to the mainland by just a few miles, it's
hard to see it on the map because of tributaries,
estuaries, creeks, et cetera.

4) We never evacuate in Hurricanes, all Settlers,
Pioneers, and very long time transplants knows
where to reside - they know better where not
to live!

Brain, you know I'm just jealous stuck here on dry land (no, the Ohio River doesn't count) and you are surrounded by the salty ocean breezes and the beautiful Gulf. I spent some time in south Florida when I was in college. I had a co-op job there for a few semesters. I would move there in a heartbeat. I've never been to the Gulf, though, an oversight I someday hope to correct.
