I've been SO frustrated since having 3 grand mal seizures toward's the end of the year, last year. I was having tons of simple partials throughout the last couple months of the year and most of January. I've been working from home and my life has been turned upside down while I try to keep everything in order and work from home while my neurologist figures out what's wrong with me.

Long story short, my Keppra level was too low and he put me on brand name Keppra. It's been 8 days since I was put on the brand name and around 2 pm yesterday I suddenly started to feel different, better, like myself again.

This coming Monday I get my Keppra level checked again, and I'd say I'm certain that it's going to show that it's back to where it's supposed to be. I was in a major, deep depression because of this. I'd suggest to anyone who felt like I have felt to hold on until you get the right meds, because once you do and you start to feel like yourself again, it'll be worth it.

This is GREAT news!

Financially how is it going? Is your insurance covering the brand name?

I have very good insurance. My premiums costs me $40/month, and I have a $3000 out of pocket max annually. Of course, I make over 100K a year, so what I consider good insurance could be different from the next guy. I pay basically full price for drugs, doctor, visits, etc. until I reach $3000 (which I am probably already pretty close to), but the rest of the year will be free.
