I'm aware my daughter's epilepsy is much, much less severe than some people's, and I'm really proud that she's going to use her capabilities to do some fundraising for Epilepsy Scotland (totally her own idea).

So next month she's going to be doing something like this - zip sliding across the River Clyde in Glasgow. I'm petrified just look at it.

I did a zipwire once a long time ago when I was in high school. It's a lot of fun! And much easier on the body than something like bungee jumping. Congrats to your daughter -- I hope it goes well next month (for you both!).

Thanks Nak, she's really looking forward to it. Fundraising going not bad. I'm hoping to get our local paper to do a feature on her, more for a bit of E awareness than in expectation of more people donating.

One of the many things I've learned since Rosie developed E: if you have contacts - use em x

Excellent Jane,im really proud off Rosie-You make sure and tell her that for me!

Thankyou Crash, my friend, I will most certainly do that. Hope all is well with you.

Got a yes from my local paper. I'm a journalist so they cheekily asked me to write it myself. The upside to that is that we get to make exactly the points we want to make :woot:

Rosie finally did her zip slide today, having had it postponed last month due to the weather. She has raised more than £500 for Epilepsy Scotland. Very proud of her  :woot:

Thats great news, delighted she made all that money for Epilepsy Foundation, i hope she is well chuffed with herself, she certainly deserves it.

Tell her i am very proud off her,and heres a:hugs:for good measure, all the best,Neil.
