Hi.
I always seem to get breakthrough seizures (just my "usual simple-partials) when I'm sick- even with just a cold and no fever. I've read that a fever speeds up your metabolism and so your body burns through your meds quicker. But even when I have an annoying head cold without a fever, I still get seizures.
I've been sick with a cold for the past few days (just sore throat, stuffy nose, irritated sinuses), and I had a seizure yesterday and one today.
I didn't get any with my period this month, though which is weird (YET AWESOME). I got back awful spasms instead... if it's not one thing with my period, it's another. lol sorry guys to be sharing my woman problems...
But anyway, back to my question- why do I get breakthrough seizures when I have a cold?
