I don't know what happened because most of my seizures are in my sleep, but I woke up with a sore jaw and a chipped tooth (still had the pieces in my mouth).

What the heck kind of seizure is that? Most of the time my seizures cause me to wander, not grit my teeth.

Agh. This makes my mouth hurt.

Could have been any type. Just depends on what you did during. There is no knowing. :(

i broke several, I sat on the curb, and hit my face on the concrete,

and the I grind my teeth, I am going to have a mouth piece made,

dentist are funny about sticking their fingers in your mouth when you have epilepsy.

It drives me crazy not knowing what I do in my sleep. Woke up with my tooth around 2am and when I woke up for the day I was half dressed already, holding the rest of my clothes. I have no idea where seizure-me thought she was going. Maybe to the dentist haha.

I warned my dentist of my epilepsy. I told him I was more likely to accidentally punch him, though. :)

My dentist is pretty damn good. Makes it as painless as possible unlike my last dentist. I've had almost all my teeth drilled on. Some of my partials include punching. :D

A good dentist is like gold!! And punching? Your poor wife...I can imagine that in the middle of the night! lol

Back when she was a flight attendant, the bruises on her legs were hard to hide. I'm sure most people thought I was a beater. Well I kind of was, but I didn't mean to. :crying:

Stop the violence! haha Awe, can't help what we do. I wake up with bruises on my forearms sometimes, as if I'm banging my arms up against something.

I haven't had any amorous activities during a seizure.. but one time I woke up on the floor naked. It the post ictal I somehow decided it would be best if I was naked, took off all my clothes and laid on the floor. Good thing it's just my wife and I in the house.

with a sore jaw and chipped tooth my first question is had you woke up in bed like usual? anything your mouth could have hit there (nightstand, headboard...?). 'sore jaw' is pretty part and parcel of a tonic clonic, and i know from history so is a chipped tooth.
in my last t.c. (and better be the f'in last now that i've had surgery!!) my face was cut and tooth chipped by the bottom of a glass door... so my guess is that either you hit your face into something or it is always possible your teeth ground/slammed each other that bad.
jaws have the strongest force in our body, when our teeth are under that power it is amazing what can take place. good luck feeling better hun ;)

Good thing it's just my wife and I in the house.

When I first started wandering I had to start sleeping with something on. I'm single but my daughter is 17 and I was so afraid of walking around the house in a zone nekkid haha

Thanks gtown, I'm not sure if I may have bumped it or not. I do have a nightstand and I have no recollection of anything other than waking up feeling like poo. The soreness is more like a tired muscle than a bruised muscle, though. When I fell asleep, I was having a lot of jerks so I sort of expected an active night but not like this.
No tc's for you! :) I'm glad you are doing so well!
