Wow

we're going up to 7C (45F) tomorrow.

Can't work on my tan yet though.

My mac widget clock says we are going DOWN to 47º tonight.
Going to put socks on for sure.

Yup

tomorrow is scheduled to be a BALMY 23 degrees out. Count 'em.......TWENTY THREE degrees........and that's before the wind chill. Of course there's going to be snow, too. Can't forget that, either.........

I guess the elements cause trouble, no matter where you go!

Do stay warm.
Jerry, my husband, was just in NY and it was 20º but he said he rarely felt it. Heat in the buildings, run out to a taxi that had heat, and back in another building. The snow that fell in Manhattan didn't last long.

Are we actually in Global Cooling?

I love it when it hits 23 degrees here. Of course you have to remember that we' measure temp in Celsius.

Amazingly, I woke up to 25 degree temps here in Ohio this morning

The sad thing is, our high is only 24. Does that mean we'll be dropping throughout the day :ponder:?

Rare we get snow at the shore but we've had it twice in the last week. Yesterday was so cold, when I woke up I had no cold water in my kitchen sink, I guess it froze? Thats a first lol It must have warmed up today as it is fine now.
We also have another solid 1/2 inch of snow lol Every 5 - 10 years we will get a GREAT storm, but its rare.

Enjoy all and stay WARM

Hahaha well auditions are in August I believe...The hottest month of the year for us! And especially Pheonix, AZ. They are literally in the desert over there!! No deserts for me!!

P.S. 72 degrees here today!! :pfft::pfft::pfft:

When I left for church this morning it was ALREADY 33

It's summer here in Australia but a friend from America sent me this.

WINTER Poem

It's winter in Chicago
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Chicago
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Chicago
I'm frozen to the friggin' ground!

Wahoooooooooooooooooooo

Not weird at all. I think every kid in Canada loves snow & hates the cold as well as adults like myself (though in some ways I am still a kid)

I'm jealous CM............ so enjoy it while you have it!!!

:agree:

If it is going to be cold anyway, there should at least be some snow on the ground to brighten things up a little. Those dreary 35-40 degree days when everything is just muddy suck. At least this allows us to enjoy some of the winter sports. We probably have 5 inches on the ground right now and we keep getting a little bit of fresh snow each day. Thank goodness for my snow blower.

16F last I checked this afternoon. At least the sun is shining.:woot:

My honest opinion?

If it's gonna be so bloomin' cold out all the time, then guess what? IT NEEDS TO BE A BLIZZARD!!!! :woot::woot:

HA HA HA There is justice -

There was a piece in the paper a couple of days ago that areas of Florida had dropped to temperatures of -4C :roflmao:

But on a sadder note, I never got my snow :o(

It is +4C here today

If it is going to snow ...

... you might as well make the most of it.
