Wahooooo Its snowing like mad here in the East of England!!!!!!

We are on a severe winter weather warning for the next 3 days :rock:

No signs of any dreaded flakes in the south west at the moment - finger's crossed it'll miss me

currently in the 40's here at the moment, but it is supposed to start snowing again tonight...........

It has been snowing all day here, I'll have to get the huskies out in the morning for my journey to work AWESOME

TT's are you not on a severe weather warning like us??
 
It is suppose to go up to 74º here today. Almost beach weather.
Still needing my socks indoors. They built these old stucco houses to keep the heat out.

Socks indoors? huh, Ive got winter thermals on. But today I wouldn't change it for the world, because I LOVE SNOW :pfft:

p.s. but I don't like the cold, so I will go back to being envious of your sunshine when the snow turns to slush.
 
We HAD slush. Now it's solid ice all over the place. My dog and I were SO rowdy today that we went to the pet store and walked around. We both really needed it. We came home with all kinds of toys and treats.
 
Update

The UK, imparticularly around London has come to a standstill. The airports, tube, trains, buses, roads, schools and even some businesses are closed in certain areas.

I was talking to a supplier today, who went to work to divert her work phones to her cell and it took her 2hours to travel 6 miles, due to 12"of snow and traffic congestion.

It has been snowing like mad in my home city today, but it has now started raining, so all the snow is thawing rapidly. I haven't even had time to build my snowman:crying:

But on the upside, it is meant to snow again tonight :rock:
 
CM : you need yer bumps felt. SNOW IS HORRIBLE !!!

I spent 1 and a half hours this morning gritting my Dad's driveway, plus his 3 neighbour's driveways too, as their all linked to a steep uphill lane. If it snows, we can't get out off the house.

You will no longer hear a word about
my weather after that EARLIER posting!

We have 80's in the day, and thirties at night. We have come to accept that as A. B. normal.

Wow are you still getting snow there, it has been sunny here today, tho this past few mins it has started raining, just to think my side of the UK was supposed to get the worst of this weather and all we ended up getting was a couple of coatings that thawed within a day each time.

It was in the upper 50's here today! You have NO IDEA how happy I was with that!!! It's supposed to hit 32 tomorrow night, but the soonest we're SUPPOSED to see snow again is another WEEK from now.........:)
 
Wow what a difference a day has made!!!!!

Last night it was snowing, today the sun is shining and it actually feels like spring is on its way. My koi are looking for food, which is always a good sign that the weather is on the change.
