So here I am again... sitting and writing. Hardly knowing what to write about. I want an answer to the big question "what is wrong with me?" but who can give me one? Can migraine auras cause you to fall? Could all the things that are wrong in my messed up brain just be migraine or am I crazy, is it epilepsy, what, what? It started about 10 years ago but 8 years ago is when I talk about the "real" seizures started because that's when it went real bad. I'll try something I've seen others do on this site, write down all symptoms (only that orrur at times without being followed by migraine headaches):

1 Jar is moving or I'm opening my mouth
2 Eyes staring, sight locked, or eyes rolling up
3 blurred vision, not being able to focus
4 buzzing sound
5 head turns to the side
6 feeling distant and like it isn't real
7 missing parts of conversation, movie, info at school etc.
8 my whole body can't move
9 heart beat raises
10 burning in my stomach
11 can hear but not understand
12 my body becoming so weak I fall or "drop my head"
13 can't talk

4, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 usually occur at the same time when I'm about to sleep and 1 and 2 occur together. I've also thought it could be narcolepsy and cataplexy I'm experiencing. But what do you think? There's still some time till my next neuro appointment.

I am curious as to why you need to label it?
Obviously something is the matter. How about we focus on what you might do to alleviate the symptoms.

Have you tried supplementing at all? Any tests taken to see your mineral levels?
Have you made any nutritional changes?

I need to know what it is to know what to do about it so you are right we should focus on that but all sorts of tests have been done and came back clean. Also I think it is really scary what happens at night because I can sometimes hear voices during these seizures so I just really want to know why they happen and what I can do to prevent them.

I have tried taking vitamin supplements for a while and stopped again, I am always trying to eat healthy but not something I focus much on. Do you have any specific ideas as to what I can eat/avoid eating to see if that helps?

Also after having it all these years I would like to know just to know because I am curios of what is going on in my own brain. Even though for years I had decided to let go and just live with it. I can't do that anymore since I want a driver's license and I don't want one (plus I'm not allowed to) before these things are under control. It would also be nice to know concerning something in my past but in this matter it is not necessary.

Your symptoms sound like those of one of my best friends. She keeps getting yanked around at the neurologist and they just keep saying it's migraines. She ended up in the ER because she was semi-conscious and couldn't respond to her co-workers. She has never had an EEG....even in the ER as she was having the problems. They talked about it but never did. So frustrating! I don't have a lot of advice for you, but wanted to let you know you aren't alone!

I'm sorry your friend is going through something like that. The same thing happened to me 8 years ago with not responding. Doctors didn't find anything back then and gave up I guess.
