Some smart cookie on here suggested I change the brightness and contrast on my PC but I can't for the life of me, remember where to find the settings. I've looked all through the "ease of access" and "display" settings. I've got the dreaded Windows Vista. Any ideas?

Thank you =)

Have you checked the buttons on the monitor?

You also might want to go to "start", "setting", Control Panel then go to "Display"

I was going to suggest the same thing. Let us know if you get it or need more help! :)

Sorry I should have written contrast and I have a laptop NOT a PC. Wow, going well today!

Epileric I don't have any buttons on my monitor (being a laptop incognito) and momof3boys I have tried the display settings but no luck.

Any other ideas? Thanks

control panel --> go to Accessibility Options --> click on display --> High Contrast (here u can review the many Contrast settings...

Control Panel accessibility options. Use Accessibility Options in Control Panel to customize the way your keyboard, display, or mouse functions. Many of these features are useful to people without disabilities.

To open Accessibility Options, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Accessibility Options.

Most laptops offer standard monitor adjustment features like contrast control as a function key on the keyboard. Check your keyboard for (blue most likely) symbols on some keys that you have to hold a Function (FN) key down to use.
